Blendtec’s clever yet hilariously absurd Will It Blend? campaign has greatly impacted their sales positively.

On their campaign, they blend all sorts of things from light bulbs, bottled beverages to Minecraft dolls. They even had episodes where they blended smartphones.

Although the concept seemed absurd, it’s a perfect way to show how effective and durable their blenders are. I mean, if they can make smoothies out of bottled beverages – and yes they included the actual bottle – who would dare question their blender’s capabilities right?

2.) Avatrade International

Marketing StrategiesAvatrade is a reputable online forex broker that’s  won countless awards for their services. They offer currency trading, stock trading, commodity trading, etc… More than their awards, they also hold licenses and are regulated in various countries.

Avatrade’s brand marketing has proven to have given them amazing results. With how focused they are on their slogan “trade with confidence”, they’ve managed to grow their number of registered customers to about twenty thousand in just a few short years.

Unlike most companies, Avatrade doesn’t demand their customers to invest a few more times before they can get their money. They allow their customers to get their money straight away which would help build a strong relationship between the investors and the brand allowing them to “trade with confidence”.

3.) Hotmail

When Hotmail started, they had an ingenious way of marketing their free web-based email services.

For every free message that the users sent, there was a simple tag at the bottom saying

“Get your private, free email at http://www.hotmail.com

The result? On December 1996, Hotmail only had about 500,000 users. In less than a year, it skyrocketed to 12,000,000 users.

I know. It’s amazing right!

4.) Starbucks

Despite Starbuck’s coffee being slightly expensive compared to the others, the corporation still thrives. Now, the corporation has 21,630 stores in 63 countries. There’s no doubt that the strategies they’re using to market their products are definitely working.

One of the most notable marketing strategies that Starbucks has been using is how they’re nurturing a community. On Starbucks’ website, they encourage their customers to express their thoughts through discussions. Starbucks then joins the discussions making the whole experience very personal.

They even have the “My Starbucks Idea” section that allows them to get ideas and brainstorm with their customers.

5.) Mad Men Yourself

Ever heard of the TV show Mad Men? I wouldn’t be surprised if you have.

To give Mad Men it’s much needed buzz for its 3rd season, AMC launched their Mad Men Yourself campaign. It’s an avatar creator that allows you to create a 60’s version of yourself.

Within just the first week, the website received about half a million visitors. Of course, their season premier received phenomenal ratings.

The results that these companies garnered from their ingenious marketing campaigns are MASSIVE! They are the type that when implemented on your own, can help take your business to the next level.
